Full title: Vietnamese History in Pictures 47: The Decline of the Trịnh Family
The prosperity and decline of a dynasty is natural, although it is extremely brilliant like the Li Dynasty, as glorious as the Chen Dynasty, it is still inevitable that the day of demise will be inevitable. The Ly Dynasty lasted for more than two hundred years, and the Tran Dynasty lasted for nearly two centuries. The Le Dynasty drove away foreign invaders, and was usurped by the Mac family. The Trinh family rebuilt the Le dynasty, eliminated the Mac dynasty, and brought King Le back to Thang Long. The Trinh lords ruled the country one after another, King Le had no real power. Lord Trinh experienced a great time. Now in the royal palace, eunuchs are rampant, plotting to seize the throne. The cause is not strong, the light has faded. The Zheng family fell into the path of decline.
