The sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth centuries were a traumatic period in the nation’s history with constant civil wars. The Le – Trinh Civil War had just ended when the opposition of the two Trinh – Nguyen families arose. This period also marked the opening of the Vietnamese people to explore the southern lands to become rich and lush lands.
